The Surabaya Rhinos are one of Indonesia’s longest-running inline hockey communities, welcoming players of different nationalities and skill levels who are interested in recreational and competitive hockey. Founded in 2010, the club has helped promote inline hockey in East Java and has participated in tournaments both within Indonesia and internationally.
About the Club
The Surabaya Rhinos were established after the closure of Surabaya’s former ice rink, providing local hockey enthusiasts with an opportunity to continue playing through inline hockey. Over the years the club has grown into one of Indonesia’s most active hockey organizations, organizing local competitions and participating in regional tournaments throughout Southeast Asia.
Today, the Rhinos continue to organize regular training sessions, friendly matches, and the annual City of Heroes (COH) Tournament, attracting teams from across Indonesia and overseas.
