About Hockey Club Kombinasi
Hockey Club Kombinasi (H.C. Kombinasi) is a social field hockey club that has historically brought together expatriate and Indonesian hockey enthusiasts living in Jakarta.
The club has participated in regional hockey events, including the long-running South East Asia Expatriate Hockey & Golf Tournament (ZOAT), which brings together players from across Southeast Asia. ZOAT has deep roots within the Dutch expatriate community and continues to be one of the region’s most recognized social hockey events.
In 2023, Jakarta hosted ZOAT once again, with local teams including Kombinasi participating alongside teams from around the region. The event also supported youth hockey development programs in Indonesia and highlighted the continued growth of the sport locally.
H.C. Kombinasi has traditionally focused on friendly weekly matches, social networking, fitness, and promoting field hockey among both expatriate and local players. Activities have generally been conducted in English and Dutch, reflecting the club’s international membership base.
Field hockey facilities continue to operate within the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) sports complex in Senayan, which remains one of Jakarta’s primary venues for hockey training, competitions, and community events.
