Membership
Membership is open to men and women of all nationalities. Most activities are conducted in English. Participation is voluntary, confidential, and there are no membership dues or fees.
About Overeaters Anonymous
Overeaters Anonymous (OA) is an international fellowship of individuals who support one another in recovering from compulsive overeating, binge eating, anorexia, bulimia, and other food-related challenges. OA follows a Twelve Step program similar to other recovery fellowships and is active in more than 75 countries worldwide.
Members share their experience, strength, and hope with one another in a supportive and confidential environment. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop compulsive eating.
Meetings and Support
While we were unable to independently verify that a regular in-person Jakarta meeting is currently operating, Overeaters Anonymous offers numerous online meetings that can be accessed from Indonesia and around the world. These virtual meetings are available through various formats, including Zoom, telephone, and other online platforms.
Individuals interested in joining a meeting should visit the official OA website to find current online meeting schedules and contact information.
