About the Jakarta Cricket Association
The Jakarta Cricket Association (JCA) is one of Indonesia’s longest-established cricket organizations and has been promoting cricket in Indonesia since 1993. Today, the association consists of multiple cricket clubs based in and around Jakarta, bringing together players from a wide range of nationalities, backgrounds, and experience levels.
The JCA organizes several major competitions throughout the year, including:
- The JCA League
- Indonesia Cricket League (ICL)
- Jakarta International Sixes Tournament
- Annual JCA Gala Dinner
The association provides opportunities for both experienced cricketers and newcomers to participate in competitive and social cricket. JCA competitions have also served as an important development pathway for many Indonesian national team players.
Over the years, the JCA Annual Gala Dinner has welcomed some of cricket’s most respected personalities, including Sir Richard Hadlee, Sir Vivian Richards, Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Geoff Lawson, Ian Botham, Dean Jones, Tom Moody, Damien Martyn, and other international cricket legends.
Getting Involved
Whether you are an experienced player, a beginner interested in learning the game, or simply looking to connect with Jakarta’s cricket community, the Jakarta Cricket Association welcomes new participants.
