Java Lava is an informal group of individuals who enjoy climbing mountains and invites others to join their trips. Java Lava is not a membership organisation nor is it a commercial operation.

Activities

Climbing/trekking and camping on Indonesian mountains. One trip a month is usually arranged from February through November. Most trips are over long weekends/public holidays. Occasionally, extended trips to more remote parts of Indonesia are arranged.

Participation

Everyone is welcome to join. Simply, go to ‘Join Our Mailing List’ on the website. All trip participants, including the trip leader, pay for themselves at cost. Correspondence is in English.
