Jakarta Nanyang School (JNY) offers an international education built around the highly respected Cambridge curriculum while placing a strong emphasis on developing students academically, socially and personally. Since opening in 2012, the school has established itself as one of the leading Cambridge schools in the Greater Jakarta area, attracting both expatriate and Indonesian families seeking a rigorous academic pathway in an English-speaking environment.
One of JNY’s distinguishing features is its commitment to educating the “whole child.” While academic achievement remains a priority, the school also focuses on character development, leadership, communication skills and emotional wellbeing. Students are encouraged to become confident, independent learners through a combination of classroom learning, sports, performing arts, community service and leadership opportunities. The school aims to prepare students not only for examinations but also for university and life beyond school.
Located on a spacious campus in BSD City, JNY provides students with modern learning facilities and a safe environment in which to learn and grow. The Cambridge pathway allows students to progress seamlessly from the primary years through Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE and Cambridge International AS & A Levels, qualifications that are recognised by universities throughout the world. This makes JNY particularly attractive for families who anticipate relocating internationally or plan for overseas university education.
